The Aging Life Care Association® (ALCA) is a nonprofit organization with over 2,000 members that is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors and operates from its headquarters in Tucson, Arizona. Special Needs Planning Symposium
The Special Needs Planning Symposium is a premier three-day event that brings together professionals who specialize in planning for individuals with disabilities and administering special needs trusts, offering cutting-edge education, real-world case studies, and hands-on learning from nationally recognized industry leaders. West Coast Symposium
The West Coast Symposium has grown from 400 attendees in 2010 to nearly 1,600 participants today, bringing together addiction treatment and behavioral health professionals—from clinicians to senior executives—for dynamic, hands-on learning. The event focuses on practical education that equips attendees with actionable skills they can immediately apply to enhance treatment delivery and improve patient outcomes.
Unitek College
Founded in 2002, Unitek College is an accredited private institution with eight campuses across California and Nevada that provides quality healthcare and nursing education, combining academic and technical training with clinical placement and employment assistance for graduates. NurseRegistry is proud to support Unitek College and offer mock interviews for graduating nurses.

NurseRegistry is a proud member of the Marin Section on Aging. The Marin Section on Aging is a coalition of agencies, organizations, and individuals that advocates for older adult services in Marin through monthly networking meetings held on the third Thursday of each month.

FAQ
Is there a minimum service time requirement?
Yes, NurseRegistry requires a minimum of 2 hours. However, scheduling can be flexible to fit your specific needs.
Is NurseRegistry available after hours or on weekends?
We have dedicated 24/7 support staff who are available nights and weekends. If you reach our voicemail or answering service, please leave your information and our on-call coordination team member will reach out to you as quickly as possible.
Does NurseRegistry screen all nurses?
Yes. All nurses are licensed and insured. Nursing licenses are validated through a current search of state records.
Nurses must pass a background check (local and national criminal records) and a nationwide sex offender registry check.
Are NurseRegistry’s services only intended for seniors?
No, NurseRegistry’s private nurse services are available for people of all ages. That includes infants, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Do I need a doctor’s authorization?
Yes, a doctor’s order is required for any nursing intervention that the nurse will perform. Nurse assessments do not require a doctor’s authorization, however, any form of treatment will require a doctor’s order.
Does NurseRegisry accept insurance?
At this time, we are private pay only. However, we do work with our patients to assist in reimbursement from both primary health and long-term care insurance.
You will need to contact your individual insurance carrier to determine eligibility.
What is the cancellation policy?
All shifts can be canceled with a 12-hour notice.
