Locations: Redwood City, Mountain View, San Mateo, Millbrae, Woodside, Palo Alto – CA
Description: Currently seeking Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) who is looking to work as an Independent Contractor.

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled professional nursing care to patient and family members
  • Oversee and provide primary care, including all clinical care, palliative care, and symptom control and identify other physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs for assigned patients.
  • Must have keen observation skills, high ethical standards and knowledge of when to alert doctors and others about changes in patient conditions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain compassionate and cooperative working relations with patients, families and co-workers to ensure all patient and family care needs are being met.
  • Able to work in collaboration with the Patient Care Manager in the planning, implementation and evaluation of medical and nursing care.
  • Appropriate clinical judgment and communication skills

Job Type: Per Diem

Required Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
Required license or certification:

  • Current California RN License
  • Current BLS Certificate
  • Current ACLS
  • Hospice experience preferred
