Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Locations: San Diego – CA
Description: Currently seeking Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who are interested in working as Independent Contractors.

We are currently hiring Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for opportunities in Northern and Southern California.

Responsibilities of Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN):

  • In-home hospice care
  • Post surgical care and assessment Wound care
  • Lymphatic Massage
  • Postpartum & newborn care
  • Assistance with tube feedings
  • Catheter care
  • Bowel regimen
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Breathing treatments
  • Basic knowledge of clinical procedures, medical terminology; ability to communicate effectively (oral/written)
  • Must be comfortable in an in-home setting
  • Ability to use tact and diplomacy in dealing with people, both internal and external customers
  • Maintain a calm demeanor while completing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates the ability to accept, implement, and evaluate change
  • Appropriately completes documentation of patient care
  • Medication management and much more

Job Type: Per Diem

Required Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
Required license or certification:

  • Current California RN License
  • Current BLS Certificate
